The Real Hunger Games Experience

Special Extra Bonus!  This article from Popular Mechanics made me think...how long could I survive in District 12 or the arena after attending Wilderness School?  Not long, surely.

  1. To take out a pig, a hunter has to get close and set up a shot from just the right angle, so the arrow passes through the rib cage behind the shoulder blade. Hodges says he bags a kill on only one out of every 20 attempts.

Well, Katniss pwns him there. She can shoot rabbits through the eyes.

On thing is, if you were in the arena, you could make a "grab and dash" and get a somewhat more professional weapon from the Cornucopia... But yeah, it's interesting reading that and thinking of Gale advising Katniss to make a bow if they don't give her one.

If you replace the bow and arrow with a trident in that picture, Cliff Hodges is your Finnick, right there!
